Richard Baker has been appointed Executive Vice President, Operations Director – Asia at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Hong Kong (SAR).

　　Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced several senior management changes. After a long and successful career with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Andrew Hirst, Operations Director – Asia will retire on 31 July, 2013. Richard Baker will assume the role of Executive Vice President, Operations Director – Asia and will move to Hong Kong in July 2013.

　　Mr Baker joined the Group in 2006 and took up his current role of Executive Vice President, Operations Director – The Americas in 2008 where he oversaw the successful launches of Mandarin Oriental hotels in Boston, Las Vegas and Atlanta.
